Updated March 6, iConnect 2020 cancelled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak:
Due to ongoing concerns about the outbreak of Coronavirus, KUBRA has made the difficult decision to cancel iConnect 2020 scheduled for April 6-8, 2020 in Scottsdale. Our clients, partners and employees are our top priority and we strongly believe this is the right decision given the current circumstances. Our thoughts are with those directly impacted by this situation. More information.
Join us for our tenth annual iConnect conference on April 6-8 in Scottsdale, AZ. The conference will feature inspiring keynotes, informative utility-presented sessions, collaborative workshops, training sessions, and more!
This year, our featured keynote will be Tony Hawk! One of the most legendary skateboarders of all time, Tony Hawk helped the sport gain unprecedented popularity. In addition to his skateboarding domination, Tony built a billion dollar empire from the ground up, with ventures including one of the most popular video game franchises in history, a clothing company, world-touring skateboarding exhibitions, two books, and regular appearances on television and film.
So mark your calendars today, this is an event you won’t want to miss! But don’t just take our word for it – check out our video below for a glimpse of last year’s iConnect and what attendees had to say about it.
Countdown to iConnect 2020
We have received a special rate of $299/night for iConnect attendees at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia. Nestled at the base of breathtaking Camelback Mountain, this intimate desert oasis is inspired by the exotic locale of Spain’s Andalusia region, and features arched entryways, tranquil fountains and floral walkways.
Reserve your room now before they’re all gone. In order to receive the discounted rate, you must book before Monday, March 16, 2020.
Click here to book your reservation online. If the dates you select show up as unavailable, please call 888-627-3010 to speak to an agent. Make sure to mention KUBRA or iConnect 2020 to receive the discounted rate.
One of the most famous skateboarders of all time, Tony Hawk started winning amateur contests at the age of 12, and had turned pro by the young age of 14. Tony quickly became a force to be reckoned with, and by the age of 25, he’d competed in 103 pro contests, winning 73 of them and placing second in 19. He was also crowned vertical skating’s world champion 12 years in a row. Tony wasn’t content to let his journey stop there. He has since created his own skateboard company, clothing company, one of the most popular video game franchises in history, and touring action sports exhibitions. He has also authored two books and continues to regularly appear on television and in films.
Tony has won numerous awards, including Make-A-Wish’s Favorite Male Athlete, Teen Choice Awards’ Choice Male Athlete and Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards’ Favorite Male Athlete, beating out such sports icons as Shaquille O’Neal, Tiger Woods, and Kobe Bryant. He is the most recognized Action Sports figure in the world and, according to some marketing surveys, one of the most recognizable athletes of any kind in the United States.

Do you want to attend iConnect, but you’re worried about getting the trip approved? To help you out, we’ve drafted an example letter to send to your boss. You can take bits and pieces, or copy and paste the entire thing. Don’t forget to update the highlighted section first!
We’ve found that key points to focus on include ways the conference benefits you, and how you will be able to bring great tools and resources back to the rest of your team. If costs are a concern, we’ve also added free registration and accommodations to attendees who submit a “Call for Presenters” and are selected to speak. This can greatly reduce costs, and can be the deciding point for your boss. You can find the “Call for Presenters” form below.
